The Internet has opened many doors. Ever since the early nineties people started seeing the opportunities the world wide web offers and put their entrepreneurial skills to use to take advantage of online money making. Soon this became a trend which started impacting the job market as more and more people found ways to online money making and resigned their jobs to become self employed.
Being self-employed is ultimately not about money but about power. That is, power to control your own life and your own destiny. Power to decide when and where you are going to work. I chose to have my office at 9,000 ft and sip martini’s on my “office” deck with vast views over the Continental Divide.
Where I previously had to rely on an office full of people to service an overcrowded market, my computer has now become my office and the Internet my market. Believe me, there was a time that I thought I would never posses the knowledge and skills to be successful in an online market. I decided that if others could use the Internet as a vehicle to be successful at online money making, so could I.
A wise man once said that it is important to see the end before you can start at the beginning. Take time and dream about what it would be like to have a successful online business.
Think about the fact that you could work from home. Maybe even relocate to a different home as you are no longer dependant on the distance to commute to work. No traffic. The best school for your kids. Quality time with your family. No traffic. The power to choose. Travel whenever you want to, wherever you want to (as long as there is an Internet connection!)
So why does everybody not do it? The main reason why more people do not become self-employed is simply fear. They fear failure and fear that they will not have enough money at the end of the month to pay bills and to take care of their families. The good news is that you do not have to draw a line and walk away from your full time job immediately. You can start developing your knowledge and skills to online money making while you are employed. Get comfortable with the new online market. Reach some level of success and continue to fine-tune your plans before you decide to ditch your job.
Online money making is not as difficult as many think it is. There are numerous ways to earn money on the internet with only a computer. It is however important to find something you enjoy – remember this is part of the new-found power. What do you really enjoy? What are you good at? Is there any way that you can make money from this skill? My first recommendation to you would be to go to Google and research these topics. See what others are doing, or not doing. Take time to research as much as possible. Sometimes you need to dig really deep. Read between the lines and learn from what is not there.
If you are really serious about online money making your hart will soon see what your eyes do not, and soon a great plan will start forming in your mind. Don’t give up. Dream your online money making dream often, and then follow that dream. Your dream will set you free and empower you to live the life you want.
